With an Access All Areas pass the opportunities to get some good photos and video footage were endless at this year’s reenergised Edinburgh’s Hogmanay party.
These are some of the photos I took and video that I shared on Twitter. Headline act was Rag’n’Bone Man who led the crowds in Auld Lang Syne after the spectacular fireworks display at midnight.
Ceilidh dancing, music from Skye band Niteworks and a variety of acts on stages along the length of Princes Street made this the best New Year’s party for the crowd of 75,000.
Fabulous pyrotechnics! On one of the podium stages… @edhogmanay pic.twitter.com/HVIImNOboX

Happy New Year to you all wherever you are. ( But you should have been in Edinburgh!) Well done to all the acts who entertained and thanks to @NiteworksBand for the fabulous music tonight. pic.twitter.com/RkPQ6CUiAa
